Gender parity is one of the most critical indicators of growth and development.  From city planning to crime prevention to justice delivery to health care to peace building, each aspect is incomplete without participation of women in both at policy end and at the implementation end.  The discussion tries to match the promises with realities and therefore tries to come up with specific recommendation to the Government and other stake holders in making the city of Kolkata more women inclusive in policy and practice.

10 young practitioners from the audience including the panellists shared one story from their personal lives where they lead and created inclusion for women. This was followed by celebrating the achievements of the five women panellists.
